National SLAM

The National Lab Research SLAM is a collaboration among the 17 Department of Energy National Labs. 

An early-career scientist from each Lab will give a compelling three-minute research presentation to a non- specialist audience and a panel of judges. The event will be live-streamed. 

This competition lets participants enhance their public speaking skills and fosters cross-discipline collaboration among scientists, policymakers, and the public. 

The National Lab Research SLAM puts a fun and accessible face on science while raising visibility of the National Laboratory system and federal research priorities.
